Business Developer – Biological Products & Foliar Fertilizers

AliRa Recruitment, is recruiting for its client, an important multinational company, part of a group with presence at European level, producing crop protection products, in full expansion in Romania, a position of Business Developer – Biological Products & Foliar Fertilizers.

PROFILUL CANDIDATULUI:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in foliar fertilizers, bio-stimulants, microbiological products and adjuvants.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within the agribusiness sector;
  • Strong technical understanding of plant nutrition and soil health – an advantage;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic mindset, self-driven, and capable of working with a high degree of autonomy;
  • Proven experience in project or team management;
  • University degree in Agriculture (preferred fields: agronomy, biotechnology, chemistry, project management);
  • Experience working with R&D departments (could be a plus);
  • Very good knowledge of English;
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across Romania.

Principalele responsabilități:

We are looking for an experienced Business Developer to lead F.B.M.A.business segment – an innovative initiative focused on Foliar fertilizers, Bio-stimulants, Microbiological products, and Adjuvants. The person in this role will be responsible for planning, executing, and developing the project, while collaborating with R&D, marketing, and sales teams.   Key Responsibilities:  
  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the foliar fertilizers, biostimulants, microbiological products, and adjuvants segment;
  • Identify and engage new business partners (dealers, distributors, large farms, and agricultural networks);
  • Promote the company’s innovative portfolio and technical solutions to key stakeholders in the agricultural market;
  • Collaborate with the technical team on product demonstrations, field trials, and pilot projects;
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify new opportunities;
  • Report performance metrics, pipeline development, and market feedback to management ;
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines;
  • Collaborate with external partners and suppliers.
